How do I setup dialup on my computer? Windows XP / Windows 2000 Make sure you have your username, your account password, and a local dialup number. Go to: Start Menu, Control Panel. Open Network Connections. Go to: File, New Connection. At the welcome screen click Next, Connect to the Internet, Next, Set up my connection manually, Next, Connect using a dial-up modem, Next. In the text field, type in a name for the connection and we'd suggest adding the specific dialup number at the end - if you travel a lot you may want to specify the location. I.E. "CTC (816-256-4055, Indep Mo)" Click Next, enter the local dialup number, Click Next, Enter your username (I.E. ctc5555@usa). If you want to have the password remembered enter your password and re-enter it to confirm.
